Scour – Search & Earn
Well, Search & Earn isn’t the exact category that this site may fall under, but it’s a fair description of the site. Scour is a social search engine that gives you points for searching and other actions in the system. You can visit profiles, interact with friends (hence the “social”), and more.
I have been looking for some recent payment proof, but I’ve had a hard time finding any. On the plus side, I haven’t found any negative information about Scour yet either. I have found this on the Scour blog (first payment), but nothing more recent than this. Hopefully I’ll have some proof of my own to post soon!
If you’ve been paid by (or have a bad experience with) Scour, please let me know.
From the Scour FAQ:
Countries participating in the following rewards program include: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, U.S., and U.K.:
- 6,500 Rewards Points may be redeemed for a $25.00
- 12,500 Rewards Points may be redeemed for a $50.00
- 25,000 Rewards Points may be redeemed for a $100.00
Countries not listed above are still eligible to participate in the following rewards schedule:
- 50,000 Rewards Points may be redeemed for = $5
Check it out, and hopefully it’ll be worth our while. At the very least, it’s a pretty nice search engine. It combines results from Google, MSN, and Yahoo, and they even give you the option of filtering which search engine you prefer, and giving more weight to your preferred search engine(s).
